Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 7th at North Cary Park, and will start at 2pm sharp.  We got rave reviews last year for the location and so we will plan to repeat it this year.  Meet at the park's walkway in front of the restroom/shelter area before 2pm so you can be there for the start.  We won't wait for late arrivals, so please be on time.  The hunt is for our neighborhood children only, and is a great way to meet the other familes in the neighborhood.  If it is raining, we will hold the hunt the following day, also at 2pm, in the same location.

Neighborhood Spring Cleanup

Our annual Neighborhood Spring Cleanup will be held on April 14th at 9:30 am.  Last year we tackled the pond walking paths, so this year we will direct our attention to the walkways and plantings along Thorpe and Evans Road.  These walking/planting areas along Thorpe are NOT owned or maintaned by the Town, they are entirely maintained by our HOA.  So we need to provide some pruning, branch removal, pine straw addition and plantings in various locations.  We will provide water and light snacks -- all we need is you to provide provide the labor and socialization!  Please bring any tools you feel would be helpful (rakes, pruners, gloves, wagons, etc) and come on out for a few hours.  If you've used the walking paths or even just driven by them and enjoyed the azaleas, we need your help to keep it looking nice!  We'll be there for a few hours so please come and join us!

Solicitors and Car Safety

We have had a report that on Tuesday night a solicitor was in the Dalmeny side of the subdivision around 7pm with booklets about the "Kingdom Healthcare Inc".  Per the Cary police department, that group does not have a license to solicit, and ANY solicitation after 5pm is illegal in Cary.   We cannot find record that this group exists or has a webpage - you are advised to not let this person in your home and if you choose to answer the door, tell them that our neighborhood does not permit Solicitors and they are to leave.

We have also had a report that late last week some unlocked cars in our neighborhood were opened and rustled through during the night.  Please be cautious and never leave valuables in your car and lock them nightly.

As always, be watchful over your street and your neighborhood.  While Cary crime continues to be low, we the residents are the most valuable asset to keeping crime away from our homes.  If you see anything suspicious, call the Cary police (non-emergency) line immediately at 919-469-4012.
